Our Business
Arctic Fox Charters was started
by the Bass Family in 1965. For over 41 years Arctic Fox Charters and its' Captains have provided
quality fishing and sightseeing trips for hundreds of people every year.
In 2007, the McElwain Family purchased
Arctic Fox Charters to continue the same great tradition that the Bass Family had for so many years. The
McElwain's have lived in Alaska since 2002 . Captain David, "Preacher" has
over 20 years experience in fresh and salt water fishing.

Our Charter Vessel
Our charter vessel, "Fishy Business," is a 6 passenger, 28'
Carver powered by a 375 hp Yanmar Diesel which gives us a comfortable ride even at 20 knots. When fishing with us, you will
enjoy a private restroom, heated cabin, and modern electronics. We take pride in keeping
"Fishy Business" in the best physical and mechanical condition possible. For your added
safety, "Fishy Business" has a six man self-inflating life raft.
