Fishing Charter in Homer, Alaska

Arctic Fox Charters, based in Homer, Alaska, specializes in halibut, lingcod, salmon, and rockfish fishing charters. Hop aboard "Fishy Business," our 6-passenger, 28' Carver™ cruiser repowered with 315 hp Yanmar motor, full electronics for fishing and navigation, enclosed private head (toilet), and safety gear.

We also provide electric (power assist) reels. If you still love fishing but have a hard time with all the heavy action, electric reels will keep you fishing. You get to fight the fish as much as you want. When it is time for a bait check, just bring up the tackle with no effort. No more reeling up a heavy weight off the bottom.

With more than 20 years of experience, place your full confidence in our captain to provide you with the fishing adventure of a lifetime. Whether you are an experienced angler or going out for your first time, you are sure to have the time of your life.

Captain is US Coast Guard licensed, trained, and insured. Safety gear exceeds US Coast Guard minimal requirements.

Deep Sea Fishing
Get ready for your deep sea fishing adventure in Homer Alaska! Catch fish that weigh from 10–400 pounds. Your adventure begins about 7 a.m. and lasts until about 5 p.m., depending on the fishing, tides, and weather.

Our fishing vessel accommodates a maximum of 6 people and all equipment is provided. All you need to bring is rain gear, food, drinks, and fishing license. We provide all fishing gear, tackle, and fillleting of fish.

Fishing License
You'll need to purchase your own fishing license whether you are an Alaska resident or from out of state. However, if you're just here for the fishing, you'll be able to purchase a fishing license that is good for just a few days, which is much more affordable than buying an annual license.

Types of Fish
Although Homer is known as the halibut capital of the world, we also fish for lingcod, salmon and rockfish, which is ideal once the limit of halibut and lingcod has been caught.
